Rain storm

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've been posted anything. Again!

Yesterday the city of Toronto had a thunderstorm, started at around 4:30 PM EST and ended at around 5 PM.

One of the things I've always wanted to do was to go out and dance in the rain, so, guess what? Check that off my list! I did that yesterday - thanks to my sis - it was her idea, we both changed into different set of clothes, went outside into the rain. We put our phones in ziploc sandwich bags - to prevent rain from getting our phones wet. We also took out our umbrella, so we could record one other dancing in the rain and what not.

It was such a fun experience, there were lots of puddles, we jumped into them, danced and splashed around. There was another puddle in the field, my sister used that as a slide - she would run and then jump into the puddle, trying to slide across. She didn't get hurt, not to worry.

Did we get sick? N0. Apparently, getting sick in the rain is a myth, it was used to prevent people (children) from going out in the rain and having fun.

I don't know what the truth is, actually. But if it is a one time thing, then I don't see the harm in it. Everyone has their opinion about going out in the rain. :)

My sister and I got home soaking wet, full of smiles and we could not wait to jump in the shower (separately, of course), so I told her that she could go first while I wait outside in the balcony eating Tiramisu. Shortly after, I saw little droplets on my plants. I, being distracted, began to start taking pictures of flowers and trying different angles. Some of the shots turned out well! I also waited to see if a rainbow would appear in the sky; as rainbow usually appear after rain. I didn't see any, but saw sun shining and clouds disappearing. It was a nice sight!

That time being out with my sister in the rain was irreplaceable; I would not want to do it with anyone else. It was a spontaneous special time for us.

I ended up not finishing the Tiramisu, I wasn't hungry for it anymore. My friend had contacted me to go out, and I quickly showered, got dressed and went outside. It was a good day yesterday. Happy Friday, indeed!

Last night I went on Dundas Street, trying to look for something to eat, as I didn't have lunch. My friend remembered being in this Pho place on Dundas St. before Bathurst St. There were quite a few but none to where he has been to. So we settled for Oxtail Restaurant where I had chicken noodle soup - it was tasty but could have used more veggies. One thing I learned about Dundas Street is that it has many Pizzeria places than I've seen on any other streets. It was nice to look around but if I am ever in the mood for pizza, I'll try out places on Dundas. For now, I'll stick to King Slice, located on Queen St. west and Ossington Ave. Best pizza I've tried so far, in Toronto - the price is good for a big slice of pizza (basically two slices at other pizza places). Give it a try, folks!

If you know any good pizza places, let me know! I'd be down to try any. :)

Did any of you get caught in the rain, or go out and enjoy the rain?

Enjoy the weekend! It is to be said that it'll be a beautiful sunny weekend, not too hot, just the right temperature. It has been a very hot, humid week!
